Deluxe One Year Food Package

This is an expanded package of long lasting, flavorful and nutritious food, designed for flexibility and multiple people. It offers an even wider variety of provisions to combat culinary fatigue.
The foods in this package are all dehydrated or freeze dried. Those that are freeze dried are marked as such. They are sealed in high density polyethylene buckets, #10 Cans or mylar packages with oxygen absorbers. In this compact form they will store well and require minimal storage space. This package comes in 22 cases and 31 five-gallon buckets. The storage area required is approximately 3.5' X 6' X 5'.
The net weight of the food without packaging is 1030 pounds and supplies a total of 1,897,889 calories.
This will provide 2,000 calories per day for one adult for 2.5 years. Or 2 adults and a child for a year. Or four adults at 1,471 calories a day for a year.
In addition, at least one gallon of cooking oil is required for proper reconstitution of the shortening, margarine and butter powders. Four gallons of cooking oil (for your fatty acid requirements) are recommended along with clean water for cooking. Vegetable oil must be rotated as it does not have an extended shelf life.
