Standard One Year Food Package

The foods in this package are all dehydrated or freeze dried. Those that are freeze dried are marked as such. They are sealed in high density polyethylene buckets, #10 Cans or mylar packages with oxygen absorbers. In this compact form they will store well and require minimal storage space. This package comes in 13 cases and 9 five-gallon buckets. The storage area required is just 33 cubic feet ( 13" by 74" by 59").
This is a standard package of long lasting, flavorful and nutritious food, at a reasonable cost. The net weight of the food without packaging is 595 pounds. It serves as a one year supply for an adult male or a 6-month supply of food for two people, a 3-month supply for four...
With 4 gallons of cooking oil (for your fatty acid requirements), it will provide 2800 calories and 72 grams of protein a day for a year.
Vegetable oil must be rotated as it does not have an extended shelf life.
